This is a private reference site, not a Lincoln County or Kentucky government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, free a person, post bond, arrange a visit, or pull an official booking record. Contact the government office that holds the record for those services.

Find the Correct Records Office

Lincoln County has no active full-service jail, so the arresting agency and accepting detention center may be different. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is the county-wide starting point for sheriff records and transport questions. Its official contact page publishes current lobby and drive-through hours; check that page or call before visiting because the research did not provide the hour values.

Choose the route that matches the record or custody stage:

  • For a mugshot or booking record, use the home page's official-source steps, then request the record from the arresting agency or confirmed accepting jail.
  • For warrant information, use the Wanted Fugitives guide and contact the Sheriff, court clerk, or an attorney. Do not rely on an unofficial name list.
  • For someone reportedly just arrested, ask the arresting agency where the person was lodged. No county-wide Lincoln booking feed was verified.
  • For current custody or release, search only the facility the agency confirms. Casey and Pulaski have served as destinations in different Lincoln County cases.
  • For a city incident, contact Stanford Police, Crab Orchard's listed police contact, or Hustonville's city clerk or police custodian, based on where the event occurred.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use Kentucky Department of Corrections and Kentucky Offender Online Lookup. That system is not a recent county-booking roster.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator, since local offices do not control those systems.

Under KRS 61.872, a clear written request may be delivered by hand, mail, fax, or email without a mandatory statewide form. Identify the date, agency, person, record type, desired format, and destination facility if known. Ask for a fee estimate before chargeable copies. Charges are accusations, and a court record should be checked for the final result.
